Public Works Department

The Public Works Department is located on 201 Union Street, across from Ninth Grade Academy and operates under the direct supervision of Jack Williams, Public Works Director. This city department is responsible for maintaining city streets, garbage pickup and yard waste for the city residents. We also provide commercial sanitation services for local businesses. As a resident within the city limits, you are responsible for providing your own containers for garbage disposal. These containers are to be  purchased through the Municipal Building. Containers purchased through the Municipal Building have special attachments that allow our trucks to empty them.
