Jeffrey H Siefert has worked with the City since August 1, 2011, starting as the Building Inspector and then advanced to department head of Planning and Codes in June of 2013. Jeff had over 10 years’ experience in Code Enforcement from the State of Ohio just prior to his acceptance of the City’s position. Jeff has worked in construction his whole life and briefly served our country in the United States Marine Corps. After being honorable discharged, Jeff has worked in both commercial and residential construction in several states, such as Alaska, California, Indiana, upstate New York and Ohio before moving here to Fayetteville, Lincoln County. Jeff built custom homes for eleven (11) years in Owego, NY. and did structural concrete work for five (5) years in southern CA. Jeff was raised doing electrical work in conjunction with his Dad and brother’s business. He worked two (2) years in Alaska setting steel buildings and has even worked as the overseer of a Christian Horse Camp that had over 120 horses. Jeff and his wife love living in the ‘old town’ atmosphere of Fayetteville/ Lincoln County and are glad they live close enough to family and friends here in the south for their sunset years of life. Jeff and his wife attend the ARP Church of Fayetteville and enjoy such activities as their grandchildren sport’s games, hiking, trail riding (bicycle) and exploring the rich history of Tennessee, Alabama and local events.
